Israel Gilesindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higinio Ferdinand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Gilesindo in the 5th minute of the match. Israel Gilesindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Ferdinand having to interfere. When Gualeguaychú AFC's Israel Gilesindo in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diente De Ajo FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Gualeguaychú AFC booed when Diente De Ajo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Tonete didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Ricardo Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Hustaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualeguaychú AFC's Raul Hustaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Tonete in the 25th minute of play. Raimundo Cesario was extremely unlucky when he, in the 29th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 33 played minutes Gualeguaychú AFC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Prejun. When Pablo Muno fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gualeguaychú AFC's protests and gave Pablo Muno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Pablo Muno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualeguaychú AFC's Raul Hustaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Cesaro in the 37th minute of play. Israel Gilesindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Ricardo Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Raul Hustaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Ferdinand came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Gualeguaychú AFC's Raimundo Cesario. But to his dismay, Raimundo Cesario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Israel Gilesindo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Cesaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Raul Hustaz made a huge save. 56 minutes into the game, Israel Gilesindo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Higinio Ferdinand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Cesaro got free with Raul Hustaz in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruben Oxarra's late challenge caught a Gualeguaychú AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Oxarra helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Diente De Ajo FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ruben Oxarra hit a great ball. Israel Gilesindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Ferdinand having to interfere. Raimundo Cesario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A well placed Julio Tonete short distance shot in the 73rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Julio Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Julio Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Tonete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Diente De Ajo FC's Ricardo Cesaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Hustaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Gualeguaychú AFC's goalkeeper Raul Hustaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Cesaro.
