When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ciriaco Lauaxeta sped through La Checo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nemesio Lazcano. 26 minutes into the match, Aaron Policarpio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La Checo's Nemesio Lazcano. Nemesio Lazcano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Policarpio in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Lazcano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Bonifaco kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, La Checo's Luisito Indartsu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pascual Rozarius. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Policarpio couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, La Checo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Aurken to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Aurken couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute Aaron Policarpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Lazcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sevirop supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sevirop would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
