Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Orlando Leizarraga got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, union's Bruno Marino got control of the ball when Juan Llanos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Genaro Urtun's late challenge caught a Chañar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Urtun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, union's Genaro Urtun got a free kick in the 7th minute. Bruno Marino made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Juan Llanos sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Chañar booed when union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, union was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Arotza to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, union's Genaro Urtun got a free kick in the 18th minute. Orlando Leizarraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Marino having to interfere. If Orlando Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Llanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Llanos struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Bruno Marino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chañar. Chañar's Juan Llanos got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 29 minutes, Juan Llanos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chañar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Llanos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Marino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Orlando Leizarraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Marino having to interfere. Orlando Leizarraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Llanos took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Marino. Bruno Marino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomero Abar was the one to do the kick off. If Juan Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. union's Bruno Marino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Llanos in the 56th minute of play. Bruno Marino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Llanos in the 60th minute of play. Bruno Marino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Llanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. union's Bruno Marino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Leizarraga in the 69th minute of play. When Orlando Leizarraga came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Chañar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Leizarraga couldn't finish the play. Silvio Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Juan Llanos came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Chañar fans jumped to their feet. Chañar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
