A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Centro's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Osoro came free, but Zeledon Montrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Castaño AFC's Amador Savion got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Centro's Zeledon Montrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Osoro in the 22nd minute of play. Guaberto Osoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Montrell having to interfere. Zeledon Montrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amador Savion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zeledon Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Amador Savion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Montrell was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Guaberto Osoro took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Montrell. Zeledon Montrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Zeledon Montrell was a little too slow when Amador Savion got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-3. When Miguel Taurino fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centro's protests and gave Miguel Taurino a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Centro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Castaño AFC:s goal. Zeledon Montrell went to the wrong direction when Prudencio Quico was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Centro's zone, Guaberto Osoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Montrell came out of the goal and Guaberto Osoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amador Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Montrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Savion in the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Castaño AFC's Guaberto Osoro fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head.
