When Arnoldo Sagrario got free in front of the goal in the 11th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ezequiel Locaio was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 13th minute Arnoldo Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Locaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Gramilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Salomone to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ismael Joey sped through Gramilla AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ezequiel Theodore. In the 25th match minute, Gramilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Maria to maneuver through the defense. Colmena FC's Ismael Joey managed to work through Gramilla AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ismael Joey dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 36th match minute, Colmena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Enol to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Colmena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Sagrario came free, but Ezequiel Locaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Theodore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Estavan, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half Colmena FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Arnoldo Sagrario made the kick off in the second half. Arnulfo Cruz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gramilla AFC's Vladimiro Tabor got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ezequiel Theodore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Joey in the 72nd minute. When Colmena FC's Miguel Estavan in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gramilla AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ezequiel Theodore made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ismael Joey sent off a good shot on target. Ezequiel Locaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genaro Mon went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Estavan in the 89th minute of play forced Gramilla AFC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ismael Joey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Theodore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Joey in the 98th minute. Colmena FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
