An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Maldonado in the 4th minute of play forced Elgranchino's goalkeeper Baldomiro Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tornquist FC's Amador Umea got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Elgranchino's Jaime Dimas got a free kick in the 7th minute. Severino Estevez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Silbestre in the 12th minute of play. Blas Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Lastur having to interfere. Baldomiro Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Maldonado in the 17th minute of play. German Peruxu's late challenge caught a Tornquist FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Peruxu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Elgranchino's German Peruxu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Anselmo Berto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baldomiro Lastur. Elgranchino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Blas Maldonado took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomiro Lastur. Baldomiro Lastur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Tornquist FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rogelio Hitzeder hit a great ball. Fulgencio Silbestre took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Estevez. Severino Estevez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Ernesto Eufemio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Estevez having to interfere. Fulgencio Silbestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Severino Estevez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Tornquist FC's Amador Umea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Lastur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Amador Umea came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Tornquist FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Umea couldn't finish the play. Blas Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Lastur having to interfere. Elgranchino's Baldomiro Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Umea in the 62nd minute of play. Jairo Iraunkor took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomiro Lastur. Baldomiro Lastur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Raimundo Edur hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Federico Bonifaco fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elgranchino's protests and gave Federico Bonifaco a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Elgranchino! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Tornquist FC. Anselmo Berto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baldomiro Lastur. 4-1. In the 77th match minute, Elgranchino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Blas Orlondon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomiro Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Blas Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Lastur having to interfere. Baldomiro Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Maldonado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes, Rogelio Hitzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tornquist FC and the Elgranchino players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tornquist FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Rogelio Hitzeder hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Alejandro Gartzi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tornquist FC's Severino Estevez didn't even have to move. Fulgencio Silbestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elgranchino's Baldomiro Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Maldonado in the 100th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Elgranchino players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tornquist FC.
