Villafañe's Laureano Musko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Luix in the 3rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliciano Jaizki to make the kick off. When Fidel Tximitx came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Villafañe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Tximitx couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Efrain Luix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pupillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Luix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Musko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fidel Tximitx struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Bernardo Palban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villafañe. After 69 played minutes Villafañe got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Kimetz. Fidel Tximitx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bernardo Palban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Villafañe's Gaspar Ruisko got a free kick in the 74th minute. Celso Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Musko having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Villafañe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Efrain Luix fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Celso Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Laureano Musko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pupillo FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
