Valentin Illan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Villafañe's goalkeeper Laureano Musko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavio Gabino. Octavio Gabino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Laureano Musko made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Villafañe's Ismael Llope seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ismael Llope the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Villafañe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ismael Llope had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Villafañe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arocena FC:s goal. Villafañe's Laureano Musko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Villafañe from getting a goal against them. Laureano Musko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Mambru in the 31st minute. Octavio Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Lázaro Kimetz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villafañe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arocena FC the free kick. 44 minutes into the match, Leonel Mambru notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Villafañe's Laureano Musko. Laureano Musko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Octavio Gabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Musko having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliciano Jaizki was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Gaspar Ruisko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villafañe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Ruisko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Musko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Illan in the 57th minute of the match. Lázaro Kimetz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match, Feliciano Jaizki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nereo Maore was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Laureano Musko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Gabino in the 83rd minute of play. Lázaro Kimetz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Villafañe's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Mambru came free, but Laureano Musko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Villafañe's Ariel Txeru got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Valentin Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute.
