Ivan Gombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ceferino Cloyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergio Leocadio was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Cafayete booed when Chucul AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Euloxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Berdoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cafayete's goalkeeper Isidro Cedro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Constantino Berdoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ceferino Cloyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Cafayete's Ivan Gombal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ceferino Cloyo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Ivan Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cafayete's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
