Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgardo Elorri kicked off to start the match. Estudiantes's Amancio Gotzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Vidal in the 5th minute of play. Elpidio Vidal struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Amancio Gotzon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palavecino AFC. Amancio Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Vidal in the 22nd minute of play. Gustavo Hustaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Lesardo in the 27th minute. Palavecino AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Mateo Lesardo scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Hustaz, making the score, 1-0. Amancio Gotzon came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Palavecino AFC's Elpidio Vidal. But to his dismay, Elpidio Vidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Edgardo Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Gotzon having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Estudiantes's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Elorri came free, but Amancio Gotzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Fabricio Hondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palavecino AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes the free kick. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palavecino AFC! When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Estudiantes's Venancio Justin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gustavo Hustaz. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Edgardo Elorri came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Palavecino AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Elorri couldn't finish the play. Edgardo Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Amancio Gotzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Elpidio Vidal notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Estudiantes's Amancio Gotzon. Amancio Gotzon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes's goalkeeper Amancio Gotzon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70thth minute of the game Edgardo Elorri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes's Amancio Gotzon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Edgardo Elorri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amancio Gotzon. The goal made the score 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Vidal got free with Amancio Gotzon in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conrado Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gustavo Hustaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgardo Elorri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amancio Gotzon. That made the score 2-4 in the 84 minute of play. Edgardo Elorri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Gotzon having to make a save.
