Dalmacio Guillelmus might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Filipo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmacio Guillelmus ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Fernando Maurino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pintos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Pintos AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Edgard Polentzi hit a great ball. Osvaldo Columbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Maurino in the 28th minute of the match. Osvaldo Columbo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atilano Henric went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Atilano Henric sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Emanuel Salbatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Millonarios booed when Pintos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Polentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Emanuel Salbatore sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pintos AFC's Victor Filipo didn't even have to move. 45 minutes into the match, Pintos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Lawrence came free, but Victor Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pintos AFC's Atilano Henric managed to work through Millonarios's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Atilano Henric dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hugo Lawrence made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Henric in the 55th minute of play forced Millonarios's goalkeeper Osvaldo Columbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilano Henric struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Osvaldo Columbo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pintos AFC. Osvaldo Columbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Henric in the 66th minute of play. Fernando Maurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. The referee gave Millonarios a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emanuel Salbatore, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pintos AFC's Victor Filipo. 1-3. Ildefonso Garin hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Dalmacio Guillelmus put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Filipo. Victor Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Guillelmus in the 99th minute of play. Pintos AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
