Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Choclo FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Gustavo Harri hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Cesar Crescencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Jimeno Afonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmar Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Cesar Crescencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimeno Afonso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 21st playminute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Afonso couldn't finish the play. Cesar Crescencio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Tuclame's Cesar Crescencio in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Crescencio in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Muno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the game, Ulises Ermengol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Choclo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tuclame the free kick. After 46 minutes, Cesar Crescencio made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Choclo FC's Laureano Muno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Chico was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Crescencio in the 55th minute of play forced Choclo FC's goalkeeper Laureano Muno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tuclame's Jimeno Afonso got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cesar Crescencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, one of Choclo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Choclo FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Afonso in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Muno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jimeno Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Crescencio in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Muno saved Choclo FC from getting behind. After having played for 92 minutes, Ulises Ermengol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Choclo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Ermengol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Choclo FC booed when Tuclame was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tuclame getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Victor Azevedo hit a great ball. Choclo FC's Erasmo Belarmo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 99th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tuclame. Tuclame walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
