Jose Guerrero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Fidel Jaunti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tamberías AFC's goalkeeper Paolo Astigar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paolo Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Orlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Isaias Bras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tamberías AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Japón the free kick. Paolo Astigar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salvador Orlo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute of the match, Leonides Dubardo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paolo Astigar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 27 played minutes Tamberías AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Tercero. Isaias Bras might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Menendo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaias Bras ran back to his position shaking his head. Cecilio Marino hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Isaias Bras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Menendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Jaunti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Menendo having to interfere. If Fidel Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Real Japón's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Bras came free, but Anibal Menendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvador Orlo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Tamberías AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fausto Tercero hit a great ball. Alvaro Domenec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Astigar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tamberías AFC's zone, Leonides Dubardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 58th minute, one of Real Japón:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Japón. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Tamberías AFC. Jose Guerrero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anibal Menendo. 0-1. In the 66thth minute of the game Salvador Orlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tamberías AFC's Paolo Astigar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anibal Menendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Erasto, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 70 minutes, Nereo Gaitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tamberías AFC and the Real Japón players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tamberías AFC's Nereo Gaitano got a free kick in the 70th minute. Tamberías AFC's Paolo Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Orlo in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tamberías AFC's zone, Leonides Dubardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Astigar came out of the goal and Leonides Dubardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Orlo in the 78th minute of play. Isaias Bras who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Anibal Menendo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 80 played minutes Real Japón got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Marino. Tamberías AFC's Fidel Jaunti got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Isaias Bras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Japón's Anibal Menendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Jaunti in the 85th minute of play. If Fidel Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fidel Jaunti came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Tamberías AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Jaunti couldn't finish the play. Isaias Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaias Bras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Anibal Menendo made a huge save. Tamberías AFC played a much better game than Real Japón and deserved their victory. The Real Japón players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
