Jorge Tristan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Castel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Jorge Tristan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Generoso Castel made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Domingues during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Terciero couldn't finish the play. Severo Cortez struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Raul Eron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilela AFC. In the 81st minute, Jorge Tristan made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Castel. Vilela AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Vilela AFC's zone, Oscar Weterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Castel came out of the goal and Oscar Weterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Generoso Castel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Eron having to interfere. Severo Cortez might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Eron. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severo Cortez ran back to his position shaking his head. Adela AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vilela AFC for a fine match.
