An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Silvino in the 43rd minute of play forced Quilino's goalkeeper Edgardo Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvio Lorien to make the kick off. Edgardo Gaur was a little too slow when Silvio Lorien got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Lorien in the 86th minute of play forced Quilino's goalkeeper Edgardo Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Leandro Silvino took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Edgardo Gaur to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Pontevedra's Cecilio Rosalio got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the match was over Pontevedra could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quilino throughout the match.
