Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonel Aureo started the match with the kick off. Leonel Aureo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Aureo in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Idacio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barraquero AFC's Raimundo Idacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Aureo in the 11th minute of play. Ariel Orzaize fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Idacio having to interfere. Raimundo Idacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Aureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ariel Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Orzaize could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Raimundo Idacio made a huge save. In the 19th minute Leonel Aureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Idacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Aureo in the 20th minute of play forced Barraquero AFC's goalkeeper Raimundo Idacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Kaxen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Nesto charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Nesto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulino Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A hard shot 27 in the game by Ariel Orzaize from a close distance when the talented Raimundo Idacio managed to make a qualified save. Barraquero AFC's players were relieved. In the 28th minute, Javier Berasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Ariel Orzaize took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Raimundo Idacio to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Roberto Kaxen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barraquero AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Kaxen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Xabier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Niceto Caitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Orzaize could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Raimundo Idacio made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Caitano made a kick off. Raimundo Idacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Amor in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Barraquero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Orzaize came free, but Raimundo Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Idacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Orzaize, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Caitano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Miguel Xabier 68 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Ariel Orzaize ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Idacio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Miguel Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Caitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barraquero AFC's Roberto Kaxen got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niceto Caitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Xabier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Niceto Caitano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 89 played minutes Golpes got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Amor. Roberto Kaxen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Xabier having to interfere. Miguel Xabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Caitano in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barraquero AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Golpes.
