Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Enaut kicked off to start the match. Luciano Tabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Papo in the 2nd minute of the match. Haroldo Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Luciano Tabor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garza FC's Bartolo Papo got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Papo in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Tabor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Escalada FC's zone, Haroldo Osorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Tabor came out of the goal and Haroldo Osorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the game, Haroldo Osorio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luciano Tabor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos Enaut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Henrico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Carlos Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Henrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Osorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Tabor having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolo Papo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Tabor saved Escalada FC from getting behind. In the 29th minute of the match Silverio Salbatore shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Tabor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Teofilo Valerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bartolo Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Osorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Osorio in the 36th minute of play forced Escalada FC's goalkeeper Luciano Tabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Tabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Bartolo Papo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Papo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Tabor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Escalada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Osorio came free, but Luciano Tabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Tabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes, Teofilo Valerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escalada FC and the Garza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teofilo Valerio hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Bartolo Papo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Tabor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Haroldo Osorio made the kick off in the second half. If Bartolo Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Osorio in the 53rd minute of play forced Escalada FC's goalkeeper Luciano Tabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Garza FC's Haroldo Osorio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Tabor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Haroldo Osorio came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Garza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Osorio couldn't finish the play. Luciano Tabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Frans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Luciano Tabor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Teofilo Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escalada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Valerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Osorio in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Tabor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Haroldo Osorio fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garza FC's protests and gave Haroldo Osorio a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Garza FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Osorio. If Bartolo Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Osorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Tabor having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Garza FC's Bartolo Papo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Tabor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Garza FC played a much better game than Escalada FC and deserved their victory. The Escalada FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
