Celestino Rioja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fulgencio Chano fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calzada's protests and gave Fulgencio Chano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute of the match Gaudencio Vitin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celestino Rioja skillfully saved the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Lino Ovando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calzada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trapiche FC the free kick. Lino Ovando hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The Calzada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Calzada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
