La Mataneta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Copy FC the free kick. Herminio Birjaio kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Victor Feliu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ovidio Henrico 8 minutes into the match. Nereo Garin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saverio Efraim went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Nereo Garin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Montay's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, La Mataneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Feliu came free, but Ovidio Henrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Montay took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Garin. Nereo Garin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 26 minutes of play La Mataneta FC's Herminio Birjaio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 27th minute, Herminio Birjaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Porfiro struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Nereo Garin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Mataneta FC. Nereo Garin came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by La Mataneta FC's Eriberto Montay. But to his dismay, Eriberto Montay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 37 minutes, Pablo Mazuste mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Copy FC and the La Mataneta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Gustavo Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Eriberto Montay made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Eriberto Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Mataneta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Montay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Saverio Efraim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Nereo Garin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eriberto Montay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saverio Efraim struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Nereo Garin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Mataneta FC. Eriberto Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Garin having to interfere. If Cecilio Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nereo Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Eriberto Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Mataneta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Montay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as La Mataneta FC's Bonifacio Eate slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nereo Garin. That made the score 1-5 after 83 minutes of play. Eriberto Montay succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 89th playminute. Eriberto Montay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Nereo Garin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle sounded La Mataneta FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Copy FC.
