Marcos Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Blai in the 8th minute of play. Alejandro Hulberto hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Severiano Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fermin Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Severiano Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Severiano Machado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fermin Xabel, 2-0. In the 27thth minute of the game Severiano Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Romang's Fermin Xabel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casimiro Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Fraco during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to C.A. Dario Tallia took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dario Tallia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fermin Xabel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. During the 44th minute of the match Alejandro Hulberto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alejandro Hulberto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Alejandro Hulberto kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Blai during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Algarrobal AFC booed when C.A. Romang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casimiro Cutberto made a kick off. When Algarrobal AFC's Severiano Machado in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Romang's goalie prevented a goal. Bonifacio Ekaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severiano Machado in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fermin Xabel saved C.A. Romang from getting behind. Fermin Xabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes, Carolo Balendin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Algarrobal AFC and the C.A. Romang players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Algarrobal AFC's Carolo Balendin got a free kick in the 69th minute. The supporters of Algarrobal AFC booed when C.A. Romang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Blai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Machado struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Fermin Xabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algarrobal AFC. Romang's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Ekaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 95 minutes into the game, Algarrobal AFC's Ceferino Oihan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fermin Xabel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. C.A. Romang's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
