Pastor Millano started the match with the kick off. Aldo Refugio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Millano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genaro Estebe was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Aldo Refugio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Millano in the 9th minute of the match. Aldo Refugio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Silvio Bidun. Genaro Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Berisso FC's Mauricio Juvenal got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Genaro Estebe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aldo Refugio. Genaro Estebe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 19th minute, Pastor Millano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Ideazabal's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Tabby came free, but Leonides Telo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Genaro Estebe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Refugio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Pastor Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Aldo Refugio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Refugio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Millano in the 39th minute of the match. Aldo Refugio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Neron in the 47th minute of play forced Ideazabal's goalkeeper Leonides Telo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Braulio Tabby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ideazabal's Leonides Telo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Tabby in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Berisso FC defense, Pastor Millano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Refugio. The Berisso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Refugio should have stopped the shot. Aldo Refugio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Berisso FC's Elvio Jeraldo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Leonides Telo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Tabby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genaro Estebe took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Refugio. Aldo Refugio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Genaro Estebe might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldo Refugio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genaro Estebe ran back to his position shaking his head. Ideazabal's Pastor Millano got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genaro Estebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Refugio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Aldo Refugio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ideazabal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
