The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raimundo Balendin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18th match minute, Saladillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Lauaxeta to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Fagondo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Balendin saved Saladillo FC from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Bidun came free, but Raimundo Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Natalio Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Balendin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Fagondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Dubardo in the 27th minute of play forced Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Natalio Fagondo made the kick off in the second half. Salvador Haritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saladillo FC's Raimundo Balendin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Saladillo FC from getting a goal against them. Raimundo Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Fagondo in the 56th minute of the match. Zacarias Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Millan during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Saladillo FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Anibal Millan hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Natalio Fagondo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Natalio Fagondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Saladillo FC defense, Zacarias Bidun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Balendin. The Saladillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Balendin should have stopped the shot. Zacarias Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimundo Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Ramone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Saladillo FC's Raimundo Balendin got control of the ball when Zacarias Bidun tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes Saladillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Ladio. Arnaldo Pitin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
