When Aquiles Telesforo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Pintos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Telesforo couldn't finish the play. Epifanio Quinteros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Modesto Norino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rene Iaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Telesforo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes, Jose Gizon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cerberus FC and the Pintos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 38 minutes, Aquiles Telesforo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pintos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Telesforo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Norino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Telesforo in the 43rd minute of play. When Jose Gizon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. Jose Gizon kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Aquiles Telesforo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Iaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Beturian made a kick off. Antonio Jax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Epifanio Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pintos's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Quinteros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Iaki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Rene Iaki managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Pintos's Aquiles Telesforo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Modesto Norino charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Norino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Modesto Norino hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerberus FC's goalkeeper Rene Iaki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Epifanio Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 86 played minutes Cerberus FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Norino. In the 87th minute of the match Basilio Gauargi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Iaki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Epifanio Quinteros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rene Iaki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquiles Telesforo scored 2-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Iaki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pintos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
