C.Atletico Pirata XeneiXe's Aureliano Eufemio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Ortzi in the 19th minute of play. Bruno Remigio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Ramos in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Ramos during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcial Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Elias Celipe hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Dalmacio Cresenciano in the 26th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gervasio Ihazintu's late challenge caught a C.Atletico Pirata XeneiXe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Ihazintu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pueblo's Gervasio Ihazintu got a free kick in the 27th minute. The supporters of C.Atletico Pirata XeneiXe booed when Pueblo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half C.Atletico Pirata XeneiXe were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dante Ortzi made a kick off. Marcial Ramos struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Bruno Remigio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.Atletico Pirata XeneiXe. C.Atletico Pirata XeneiXe's Aureliano Eufemio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Ortzi in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Rene Mon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bruno Remigio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dalmacio Cresenciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 60thth minute of the game Dante Ortzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.Atletico Pirata XeneiXe's Aureliano Eufemio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pueblo's goalkeeper Bruno Remigio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rene Mon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pueblo's zone, Marcial Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Remigio came out of the goal and Marcial Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of C.Atletico Pirata XeneiXe booed when Pueblo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Ihazintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Vincent took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Remigio. Pueblo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rene Mon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bruno Remigio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Dalmacio Cresenciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Ortzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dalmacio Cresenciano came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Pueblo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Cresenciano couldn't finish the play. Dante Ortzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aureliano Eufemio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Ortzi ran back to his position shaking his head. Dalmacio Cresenciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pueblo's Maximino Toli got a free kick in the 90th minute. C.Atletico Pirata XeneiXe's Maximo Vincent shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bruno Remigio but with some difficulty. In the 92nd minute of the match, Rene Mon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bruno Remigio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sergio Ondino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Remigio having to interfere. The C.Atletico Pirata XeneiXe supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.Atletico Pirata XeneiXe would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
