RIVER PLATE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Adrian Johans made the kick off in the second half. Blas Cordarell kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Placido Sayvion hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Feliciano Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Argina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Argina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Rudolfo in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Javier Jokin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crámer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIVER PLATE the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Rudolfo in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Argina prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
