Edelmiro Ibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Napier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Apayerey AFC booed when Emma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Fortun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Edelmiro Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Gaudencio Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apayerey AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Napier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fernan Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Apayerey AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernan Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. Apayerey AFC's Gaudencio Napier was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fernan Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Edelmiro Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Karmel in the 24th minute of play forced Emma's goalkeeper Edelmiro Ibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernan Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Ibon having to interfere. If Gaudencio Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Edwardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Fortun, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Fernan Cordeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edelmiro Ibon having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Apayerey AFC's Gaudencio Napier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edelmiro Ibon. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Napier to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Apayerey AFC's Jeronimo Abeijon got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Cordeiro in the 54th minute of play forced Emma's goalkeeper Edelmiro Ibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaudencio Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Ibon having to interfere. In the 70thth minute of the game Gaudencio Napier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emma's Edelmiro Ibon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emma's Edelmiro Ibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Napier in the 72nd minute of play. Gaudencio Napier struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Edelmiro Ibon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apayerey AFC. 76 minutes into the match, Emma's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Abeijon came free, but Edelmiro Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernan Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Napier might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edelmiro Ibon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaudencio Napier ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Napier in the 89th minute of play forced Emma's goalkeeper Edelmiro Ibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernan Cordeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edelmiro Ibon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
