An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Vergaray in the 11th minute of play forced Villa Bosch's goalkeeper Arsenio Cordero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Jordy hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Horacio Socorros short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Arsenio Cordero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 24th minute, Bartolo Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Abelardo Vergaray put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arsenio Cordero. Arsenio Cordero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Vergaray's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Arsenio Cordero made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Horacio Socorro sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Tafí AFC booed when Villa Bosch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Horacio Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, Abelardo Vergaray recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arsenio Cordero. Abelardo Vergaray showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Eustaquio Azeari tried to clear up in front of Arsenio Cordero but instead he got an unlucky hit on the ball which made it go via the left pole into goal meaning 3-0 in the 47th matchminute. A very disappointing self made goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Vergaray stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Alejandro Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Bosch's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Gomez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Orkatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bartolo Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. In the 74th minute Abelardo Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Cordero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Bosch's goalkeeper Arsenio Cordero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute Honorato Chayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Cordero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
