NejbetFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benicio Eudoxio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, NejbetFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Eudoxio came free, but Leandro Urbez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dionisio Betadur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Maties succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 21st playminute. Benicio Eudoxio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Urbez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Leandro Urbez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Kepa in the 29th minute of the match. Rodrigo Rivas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leandro Urbez having to make a save. Damaso Kepa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Urbez having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Benicio Eudoxio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of NejbetFC's Leandro Urbez. Leandro Urbez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The NejbetFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tapalqué were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Monico was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Gaudencio Pello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulino Gudesteo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Tapalqué booed when NejbetFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Gudesteo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Maties's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Victorino Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Antonio Monico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NejbetFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Monico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Tapalqué's Efrain Lorencio got a free kick in the 79th minute. Victorino Maties recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Monico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benicio Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Urbez was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Benicio Eudoxio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benicio Eudoxio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Tapalqué played a much better game than NejbetFC and deserved their victory. The NejbetFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
