Spectators: 6923 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaudencio Ibar kicked off to start the match. If Edgardo Gonza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Espiridion kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Victor Guib managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pomelo Rock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Guib was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Gonnet FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Antonio Theodore hit a great ball. Daniel Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Cordarrol having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Pomelo Rock's Victor Guib sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Cordarrol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Pomelo Rock booed when Gonnet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Leobardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 minutes of play, Pomelo Rock's Edgardo Gonza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Cordarrol was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the match, Victor Guib notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gonnet FC's Cayetano Cordarrol. Cayetano Cordarrol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Patrido got free with Ildefonso Maiorga in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Guib in the 35th minute of play forced Gonnet FC's goalkeeper Cayetano Cordarrol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaudencio Ibar struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ildefonso Maiorga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gonnet FC. Eusebio Patrido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ildefonso Maiorga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonnet FC's Eusebio Patrido got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Guib to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Guib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cayetano Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Gonza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Cordarrol having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Dante Leobardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes of play, Pomelo Rock's Edgardo Gonza made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Cordarrol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgardo Gonza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute of the match Sebastian Leguizamón sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ildefonso Maiorga skillfully saved the ball. In the 89th minute Gaudencio Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Maiorga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gonnet FC booed when Pomelo Rock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Elija didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gaudencio Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pomelo Rock getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Romeo Weather hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Pomelo Rock's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Ibar came free, but Ildefonso Maiorga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaudencio Ibar took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ildefonso Maiorga. Ildefonso Maiorga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pomelo Rock walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
