Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Tonko Petrlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lipovljani's Jânio Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 12th minute of play. Jânio Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 13th minute of play. Rio Mata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonko Petrlin in the 16th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Rio Mata almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Italy's Flavio Vittori did a great save. The supporters of Italy booed when Lipovljani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakov Cvjetković didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Sigfrido Auletta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jânio Branco skillfully saved the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Tonko Urban came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Jakov Cvjetković in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Zena Busacca. Jânio Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 25th minute of play. Jânio Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 31st minute of the match. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jânio Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the game, Jakov Cvjetković threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonko Petrlin in the 37th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zrinko Kunštek hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Sigfrido Auletta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigfrido Auletta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jakov Cvjetković made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Giovanni van Bronckhorst. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonko Petrlin in the 46th minute of play.

Lipovljani's Tobias Galeno was substituted for Rio Mata. Lipovljani made a substitution. Domagoj Grković replaced Marijan Ojdanić. Jânio Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Mihovil Štibić made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. 76 minutes in the game Lovro Majer did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mihovil Štibić. Zaccheo Andolina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jânio Branco came out and tried to block the shot, but Zaccheo Andolina slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 78th minute. Lipovljani's Jânio Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siricio Liotta in the 81st minute of play. After 91 played minutes Lipovljani got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni van Bronckhorst. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Giovanni van Bronckhorst hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Jânio Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Curto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Adriano Curto took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Jânio Branco to make any attempt to save it.
