Maximo Cibran took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bonifacio Tibalt. BARZA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 8th minute, Adolfo Tibalt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Congreso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Denis Maju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Min, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Conrado Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BARZA's Bonifacio Tibalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Tibalt in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Adolfo Tibalt notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BARZA's Bonifacio Tibalt. Bonifacio Tibalt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adan Min struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Denis Maju didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BARZA. After 30 played minutes BARZA got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Santiago. Bonifacio Tibalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Rafel in the 32nd minute of the match. BARZA's Pascual Sadurni got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascual Sadurni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Denis Maju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Maju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Min in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Tibalt made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Adan Min got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denis Maju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Sadurni in the 55th minute of the match. Denis Maju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Min, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Tibalt in the 62nd minute of play forced BARZA's goalkeeper Bonifacio Tibalt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Pascual Sadurni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denis Maju came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by BARZA's Adan Min. But to his dismay, Adan Min quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Pascual Sadurni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Denis Maju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Congreso eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
