In the 14th minute, Acostillas's Nicanor Mede seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nicanor Mede the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Acostillas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicanor Mede had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Acostillas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Desaguaredo FC:s goal. Acostillas's Modesto Virila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Acostillas from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anacleto Gipuzkoa got free with Modesto Virila in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cipriano Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Salomon in the 36th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Modesto Virila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Astigar in the 51st minute of play. If Tadeo Salomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ciriaco Lalla came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Acostillas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Lalla couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Desaguaredo FC's Fidel Cai got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th match minute, Acostillas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Salomon to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Acostillas's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Gipuzkoa came free, but Modesto Virila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Acostillas getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alberto Barrionuevo hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Americo Dino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desaguaredo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Astor Astigar hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Acostillas's Ciriaco Lalla got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Gipuzkoa in the 76th minute of play forced Acostillas's goalkeeper Modesto Virila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Acostillas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Desaguaredo FC.
