Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafin Pabla to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Salvator. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Rodriguez during the 54th minute.
