Omar Firman came out of the goal and Cleto Eduino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Escalchi FC's Celestino Oinatz got a free kick in the 5th minute. Blas Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Firman having to interfere. Carabajal's Blas Llorian got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alfredo Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Julio Ieltxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Elorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Omar Firman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cleto Eduino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Escalchi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Sengrat to maneuver through the defense. Omar Firman made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Blas Llorian sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute Julio Ieltxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Elorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cleto Eduino to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Escalchi FC's Ciro Betadur got a free kick in the 57th minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Cleto Eduino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabajal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Eduino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Escalchi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Llorian came free, but Omar Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Carabajal booed when Escalchi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Betadur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carabajal's Cleto Eduino got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Escalchi FC's Omar Firman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Llorian in the 76th minute of play. Cleto Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Omar Firman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Llorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Blas Llorian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Firman was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escalchi FC's goalkeeper Omar Firman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Omar Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Llorian in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Carabajal had played much better football throughout.
