Simogasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Columbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Aragones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardino Berdoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Aragones having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bernardino Berdoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Aragones was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the game, Simogasta's Bernardino Berdoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Aragones made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Simogasta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
