German Telo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Cosme Pagomari made a huge save. In the 22nd minute Arnoldo Hori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Pagomari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arnoldo Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Nieves's German Telo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cosme Pagomari. Cosme Pagomari yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Nieves's Arnoldo Hori in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Limarna FC's goalie prevented a goal. German Telo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Cosme Pagomari when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

German Telo might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosme Pagomari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. German Telo ran back to his position shaking his head. Nieves were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Limarna FC to leave the ground with a draw.
