Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Serafino Garaile made the kick off which started today's match. Delmar Gines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Isidro Jax made a huge save. Aristides Ermengol hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Puestito's Marcial Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Arotza in the 12th minute of play. Delmar Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Rio Piedras FC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Orlan. Puestito's Narciso Valente couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rio Piedras FC. Serafino Garaile hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Serafino Frederico charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafino Frederico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Puestito booed when Rio Piedras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Frederico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Mendiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute of the match Leopoldo Orlan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Licerio skillfully saved the ball. Serafino Frederico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Puestito getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Leopoldo Quexal hit a great ball. Marcial Licerio came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Piedras FC's Serafino Garaile. But to his dismay, Serafino Garaile quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Aurelio Mendiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Isidro Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Rio Piedras FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Leopoldo Orlan hit a great ball. Isidro Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Puestito booed when Rio Piedras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Teofilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aurelio Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Jax didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Gines went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the game, Puestito's Delmar Gines nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidro Jax made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Serafino Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Garaile in the 75th minute of play forced Puestito's goalkeeper Marcial Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Garaile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmar Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rio Piedras FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
