A wasted opportunity for Corralitos FC. When Eleuterio Ted fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corralitos FC's protests and gave Eleuterio Ted a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Corralitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Ted. Rio Piedras FC's Isidro Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Amor in the 30th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Amor couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Rio Piedras FC defense, Roque Amor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Jax. The Rio Piedras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Jax should have stopped the shot. If Roque Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zacarias Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Isidro Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The shot was stopped by Ramli Kaisiepo but with some difficulty. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Corralitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Corralitos FC booed when Rio Piedras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Orlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corralitos FC played a much better game than Rio Piedras FC and deserved their victory. The Rio Piedras FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
