Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abel Botello started the match with the kick off. Wilfredo Barea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Ladislao Gasteiz made a huge save. Daniel Gaztea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Peio, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, IPA Tumba's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Peio came free, but Daniel Gaztea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Maximo Quintan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Peio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Santurce's Mauro Petrigai, in the 16th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Santurce. Bonifacio Arnas's late challenge caught a IPA Tumba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Arnas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Santurce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Arnas to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ladislao Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abel Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Abel Botello fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ladislao Gasteiz, passed just outside the right post. If Ismael Peio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Botello in the 36th minute of play. With an all-out effort, IPA Tumba's Ladislao Gasteiz threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anier Rudolfo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abelardo Aguirre charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Aguirre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abelardo Aguirre kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Abel Botello got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauro Petrigai to make the kick off. Santurce's Mauro Petrigai got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ismael Peio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Gasteiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Botello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifacio Arnas kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Mauro Petrigai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauro Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gaztea having to interfere. Daniel Gaztea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Petrigai in the 67th minute of the match. If Mauro Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Barea struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ladislao Gasteiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IPA Tumba. If Mauro Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes IPA Tumba got a freekick which was hit by Anier Rudolfo. After a defensive mix-up in Santurce's zone, Wilfredo Barea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Gasteiz came out of the goal and Wilfredo Barea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th match minute, Santurce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Licerio to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Abel Botello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IPA Tumba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Abelardo Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Daniel Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. IPA Tumba were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Santurce for a fine match.
