With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Rexino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Mojón AFC booed when Chaschuil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Sugoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Mojón AFC's Armando Arotza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Rexino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Misael in the 20th minute of play forced Mojón AFC's goalkeeper Justo Enekoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Zacarias Remigio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chaschuil FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mojón AFC the free kick. 22 minutes into the game, one of Chaschuil FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Justo Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Misael in the 30th minute of play. Paolo Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Primo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Paolo Rexino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Arotza in the 34th minute of the match. Leonel Primo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Paolo Rexino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Armando Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Mojón AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eusebio Misael made the kick off in the second half. Armando Arotza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Paolo Rexino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Armando Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mojón AFC were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Chaschuil FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolas Dantae took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Amador Bastiaro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Erasmo Abastas's late challenge caught a Mojón AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Abastas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chaschuil FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Erasmo Abastas hit a great ball. Leonel Primo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Mojón AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Primo got free with Paolo Rexino in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute Clemente Kauldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Arotza in the 84th minute of play forced Chaschuil FC's goalkeeper Paolo Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Primo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Rexino having to interfere. If Clemente Kauldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Eusebio Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chaschuil FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mojón AFC had controlled the match.
