Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hector Chan kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Balde's Saturnino Pueblo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Hector Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabricio Oliviero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Pudes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Javier Silban came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Moreira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Silban couldn't finish the play. Fabricio Oliviero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Pudes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Zeledon Cedro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Isidro Venerando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Moreira's Hector Chan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidro Venerando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Silban got free with Isidro Venerando in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hector Chan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Chan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Javier Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Venerando having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Balde got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Etor. Javier Silban took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidro Venerando. Isidro Venerando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Javier Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Venerando having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Pudes to strike the kick off in the second half. Hector Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balde's Isidro Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Silban in the 55th minute of play. Isidro Venerando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Chan in the 61st minute of play. Javier Silban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidro Venerando having to make a save. Ignacio Herauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isidro Venerando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Silban in the 75th minute of play. Isidro Venerando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Silban in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Hector Chan made a precise shot to the right of Isidro Venerando. Balde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Teo Pudes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Fabricio Oliviero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabricio Oliviero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Pueblo in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Moreira fully deserved thier win.
