The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Luciano Indar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Medero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Medero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Dabi in the 9th minute of the match. Jaime Quinton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Cordara in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Bouvier's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Arixo came free, but Jaime Quinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Indar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bouvier booed when CA. FIGU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Txurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Indar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Domingo Medero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Luciano Indar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Medero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Ernesto Arixo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alfredo Eladio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Cesar Dabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Arixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Cordara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Arixo was the one to do the kick off. Ruben Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Quinton having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Arixo in the 58th minute of play forced Bouvier's goalkeeper Jaime Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Bouvier got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Eladio. After 64 played minutes Bouvier got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Selatse. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Cordara in the 66th minute of play forced Bouvier's goalkeeper Jaime Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Bouvier defense, Ernesto Arixo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Quinton. The Bouvier fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Quinton should have stopped the shot. With his leg Domingo Medero managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Bouvier's Luciano Indar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Celedonio Eguzki's late challenge caught a CA. FIGU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Eguzki helped the player get up and apologised. Celedonio Eguzki hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Teobaldo Aurre kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Domingo Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Dabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Celedonio Eguzki, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Domingo Medero was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. CA. FIGU were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
