Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pascual Ignazio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 5 played minutes CLUB ATLETICO got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Afonso. Artemio Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Lehen having to interfere. Artemio Martino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruperto Lehen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Maureo in the 13th minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO's goalkeeper Pascual Ignazio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of CLUB ATLETICO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chiba 22:s goal. Natalio Urbes shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. Pascual Ignazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cleto Maureo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pascual Ignazio was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Ruperto Lehen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Martino in the 45th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateo Nesto was the one to do the kick off. When Gabriel Vincent fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CLUB ATLETICO's protests and gave Gabriel Vincent a yellow card for diving instead. The tension between the CLUB ATLETICO and the Chiba 22 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chiba 22 booed when CLUB ATLETICO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Errolan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascual Ignazio having to make a save. In the 93rd minute Cleto Maureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
