To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Juventud Unida's Eleuterio Eleder got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Zacarias Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Eron's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Venancio Frichoso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zacarias Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Frichoso having to interfere. Honorato Havier hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Diego Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Diego Huly came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Juventud Unida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Huly couldn't finish the play. Elias Miro charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Miro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, juniors boca's Elias Miro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Mauricio Jon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventud Unida. The supporters of Juventud Unida booed when juniors boca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes Juventud Unida got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Aurre. A collision led to Juventud Unida getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eleuterio Eleder hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some careless play in the Juventud Unida defense, Rodolfo Eron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Venancio Frichoso. The Juventud Unida fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Venancio Frichoso should have stopped the shot. Erasmo Ixaka kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Rodolfo Ferdinand charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Ferdinand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Rodolfo Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind juniors boca's goalkeeper Mauricio Jon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mauricio Jon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiberto Ascencio's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Diego Huly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Diego Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
