In the 22nd minute Leon Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Lorencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Montoya FC's goalkeeper Pascual Lorencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicasio Modestio. Montoya FC's Pascual Lorencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Dabi in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montoya FC's goalkeeper Pascual Lorencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pascual Lorencio came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Recreo's Nicasio Modestio. But to his dismay, Nicasio Modestio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.

In the 54th match minute, Recreo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Mazuste to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Bertol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When Recreo's Leon Dabi in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montoya FC's goalie prevented a goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascual Lorencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Modestio in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Recreo's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Cordeiro came free, but Fernando Bertol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Lorencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Dabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Nicasio Modestio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recreo's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Modestio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Lorencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Nicasio Modestio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascual Lorencio. Montoya FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicasio Modestio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 94th minute, Carmelo Fernado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
