Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Clodoveo Leoiar got the match started through his kick off. Nicasio Modestio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Aurelio Gorbea made a huge save. Nicasio Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Gorbea having to interfere. Aurelio Gorbea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Dabi's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Portugalete AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Dabi came free, but Aurelio Gorbea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Nicasio Modestio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Leon Dabi came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Recreo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Dabi couldn't finish the play. Nicasio Modestio struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Aurelio Gorbea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recreo. Carmelo Fernado hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Alfonso Casomiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernando Bertol. Recreo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Portugalete AFC's zone, Leon Dabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Gorbea came out of the goal and Leon Dabi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Leon Dabi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugalete AFC's Aurelio Gorbea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Leoiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugalete AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Recreo the free kick. Clodoveo Leoiar kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Vicente Txomin fired a really elegant long shot, but Aurelio Gorbea threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. If Aurelio Hermon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Modestio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Aurelio Gorbea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leon Dabi was the one to do the kick off. Recreo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vicente Txomin in the 54th minute. After taking down the ball on Recreo's corner Vicente Txomin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelio Gorbea quite easily take care of the ball. Aurelio Gorbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Dabi in the 56th minute of the match. Recreo's Leon Dabi got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Portugalete AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dario Fernendo hit a great ball. Nicasio Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Gorbea having to interfere. Aurelio Gorbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Dabi in the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Recreo's Leon Dabi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Gorbea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 71 minutes into the match, Nicasio Modestio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Gorbea. Portugalete AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicasio Modestio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Nicasio Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Gorbea having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Primitivo Herena could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Fernando Bertol however easily saved by the left post. Aurelio Gorbea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Dabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Modestio in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Gorbea saved Portugalete AFC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Dabi in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Gorbea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leon Dabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Gorbea having to interfere.
