Tomás Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Bieito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute Gualterio Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gualterio Ortzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tomás Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Chago during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Yo Quiero Juga got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Chago. Gualterio Ortzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gualterio Ortzi came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Castellanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Ortzi couldn't finish the play. Tomás Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Lazcano in the 38th minute of play. Gualterio Ortzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Santos Lazcano came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Castellanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Lazcano couldn't finish the play. Tomás Petrigai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Aurken was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Yo Quiero Juga's Nicanor Chago got a free kick in the 59th minute. Castellanos's Santos Lazcano managed to work through Yo Quiero Juga's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Santos Lazcano dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in Yo Quiero Juga's zone, Gualterio Ortzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Petrigai came out of the goal and Gualterio Ortzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicanor Chago was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Santos Lazcano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Santos Lazcano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Santos Lazcano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yo Quiero Juga's Tomás Petrigai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Enrique Aurken fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yo Quiero Juga's protests and gave Enrique Aurken a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Yo Quiero Juga's zone, Santos Lazcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Petrigai came out of the goal and Santos Lazcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Santos Lazcano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualterio Ortzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Tomás Petrigai made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Lazcano in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Petrigai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute, Santos Lazcano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomás Petrigai. The goal made the score 0-3. Tomás Petrigai made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Gualterio Ortzi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Castellanos's Baldomero Aztore got a free kick in the 96th minute. Castellanos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
