Eusebio Ceandro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Fortun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. the xeneise jr's Sixto Roldanillo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruben Abarca kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arenal FC's zone, Aldo Louis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Abascal came out of the goal and Aldo Louis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Abarca hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Arenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Roldanillo came free, but Fulgencio Abascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aldo Louis came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the the xeneise jr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Louis couldn't finish the play. Fulgencio Abascal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Roldanillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Marcos Evarado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eusebio Ceandro firmly grabbed it by the left post. 36 minutes into the game, Arenal FC's Marcos Evarado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusebio Ceandro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Fulgencio Abascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Louis in the 42nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Fortun was the one to do the kick off. Marcos Evarado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Eusebio Ceandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, the xeneise jr's Sixto Elivareo got a free kick in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Louis got free with Fulgencio Abascal in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Isaac Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, the xeneise jr's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Fortun came free, but Eusebio Ceandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Evarado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Ceandro having to interfere. Isaac Fortun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebio Ceandro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Arenal FC's Marcos Evarado got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Evarado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eusebio Ceandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. the xeneise jr's Eusebio Ceandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Fortun in the 85th minute of play. Arenal FC's Isaac Fortun got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Isaac Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Isaac Fortun put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eusebio Ceandro. There was no doubt that Arenal FC were the better team. Arenal FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
