An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Damario in the 27th minute of play forced Facundorodxd's goalkeeper Gregorio Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Tacoyoj were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Facundorodxd's Elias Nisio got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melchor Columbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Facundorodxd booed when Tacoyoj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Emeterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Facundorodxd's Gregorio Cruz got control of the ball when Cayetano Mero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Facundorodxd's zone, Astor Damario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When Elias Nisio came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Facundorodxd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Nisio couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Hernan Nicholas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Astor Damario succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. After 82 played minutes Facundorodxd got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Santxol. Cayetano Mero came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gregorio Cruz could save by the left post. Isidoro Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Montae having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Elias Nisio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Facundorodxd's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Nisio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Montae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Elias Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Facundorodxd's Gregorio Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Damario in the 95th minute of play. Chants of Tacoyoj echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Facundorodxd had held the ball for most of the match.
