Palavicini AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Ebardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Sein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Ebardo in the 21st minute of play forced Laferrere's goalkeeper Enrique Sein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Sein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Ebardo in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match, Domingo Cidro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enrique Sein was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Justino Lluis charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Lluis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Laferrere! In the 45thth minute of the game David Ebardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laferrere's Enrique Sein was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jairo Gombal made a kick off. When Palavicini AFC's Domingo Cidro in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Palavicini AFC fully deserved thier win.
